The Automation category gathers components dedicated to industrial control: proximity sensors (inductive and capacitive), photoelectric sensors, contactors, interface relays, and wiring accessories for electrical cabinets. Proximity sensors

Inductive proximity sensors (detect ferrous/non-ferrous metals) and capacitive sensors (detect any material, including liquids) are the most-queried components in this category. Essential technical criteria:

• Nominal sensing distance (Sn) — ranges from 0.8 mm to 30 mm depending on sensor diameter (M8, M12, M18, M30).
• Output type — PNP (sourcing) or NPN (sinking), NO or NC, sometimes IO-Link for modern integration.
• Supply voltage — 10-30 Vdc industrial standard, some 24Vac for legacy compatibility.
• Protection rating — IP67 minimum for industrial environment, IP69K for food industry (high-pressure washing).
• Connector — M8 / M12 / flying lead, depending on client cabinet standard.
